Before joining CHAMPS, Sampson served as the Director of Communications and Public Engagement for the Global Network at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences \u2013 Next Einstein Initiative, where he made significant contributions to expanding the Institute\u2019s global reach and securing grants valued at over seven figures to increase its impact. Sampson is an alumnus of the Duke of Edinburgh International Award for Young People and Ghana\u2019s Head of State Award Scheme (Bronze and Silver Medals). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A graduate of Africa\u2019s top-ranked Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town, he earned a Master of Philosophy in Inclusive Innovation with distinction, an MBA, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of the People and the University of Development Studies, respectively. Sampson is also an alumnus of the World Economic Forum\u2019s Global Shapers Community, where he served in several roles, including as the first-ever Community Champion for Anglophone West Africa (Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone, and The Gambia), reporting to the Community HQ in Geneva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was selected to attend the World Economic Forum\u2019s 2019 Annual Meeting, the Africa Meeting in 2019, and the 2022 Sustainable Development Impact Summit at the UN General Assembly (UNGA) 77, as well as numerous other community events in South Africa, Kenya, and the US. Sampson frequently contributes to the World Economic Forum\u2019s Agenda.
